MyWayAn estimated 90% of Mozilla FireFox users are infected with that pesky default search setting Search.Myway.com. Some people don’t even know it! However, if you’ve recently bought a Dell, chances are, you have it as well pre-installed.

Why is having this a bad thing? Well, normally firefox is designed to have you enter keywords, and then Google will handle this request and bring you directly to the website that best matches your keyword query. However, MyWay forces you to look at their search results which sometimes will include pesky ads and such. They ADD a middle man, slowing your productivity and wasting your time.

This is a little guide that will help you get rid of the keyword search page in a few simple steps. Not sure if you have it? Type a keyword in the URL bar, such as “Tech”. If you’re directed to search.myway.com, then you’re infected and should read on to the 4 steps that take less than a minute to complete!

    JapansNewPS2

Sony Japan has announced yet another release of it’s seven year old console, the PS2, in Japan. The new model will weigh only a mere 1.2 pounds and comes with the power adapter built right into the system. Sony says it will allow gamers to be more portable with the machine. It will go on sale in Japan on November 22 for about $140 (16,000 yen), unchanged from the price of the previous model. Sony says overseas shipment will occur, but the time frame for this even is yet to be decided.

The PS2 is far from dead, and will be for as long as the PS3 stays at such a high price for general gamers (nearly 3 times the price of the PS2). Worldwide, Sony has shipped a total of over 120 Million units thus far, and plans to sell another 12 million by March, while in the same time period plans on selling around 11 million PS3 units.

    Big BSOD

The Bay department store in Toronto features four massive screens attached to the sides of the multi-level building. What’s odd however, is they have been displaying the Blue Screen of Death for the past few days now. You’d think someone would turn these massive energy hogs off? Nah, leave them on. Afterall, look at the attention they’re getting. “All your memory are belong to dump”
