For quite a long time now there have been stories about how people spend their free time browsing around on Google Maps to see if they could see anything interesting, such as the woman’s face in a natural rock formation ,or weird signs made by roadways. Well just recently as someone was doing one of their boredom killing browses, they accidentally discovered a missile caught on Google Maps in the mid-west portion of
We of course always knew about the super secret military base held underground at Utah Area 52 and 3/4ths. Want to see it yourself? Too bad. Actually, just kidding. The missile is located at 38 13′36.38″N, 112 17′56.59″W. You can just paste those coordinates in the search bar and click satellite view. The best zoom is the 2nd closest (the 1st closest is not available.) Or you can simply click here. Thank you once again, Google, for hours of entertainment
(Where is it headed, anyways?)
UPDATE: We’re sorry to get your hopes up, but we’ve recently discovered that the item is not a missile at all, but in fact it’s a small comercial plane. Notice the twin contrail left behind the plane, also the wings, as they’re painted black which does make it look awefully like fins, but apparently we were wrong. Sorry about that ![]()

No, that’s not a missile.
It’s a plane. If you look closely you can see the wings, they’re painted black. Also, it has a twin-contrail. A majority of missiles use only a single engine. However, something like a commuter jet would have twin engines, and produce the twin contrail.
