No Cell PhoneCell phone jamming technology has been around for a very long time. However, until recently demand for portable jammers has been low. But now many people are demanding it quite a bit more. Ever wish you could shut up little Ms. Talks Alot when she’s chatting away, blabbing about her finger nails and shooting off the word “like” like.. every like 5 minutes?

A year ago you could have had a brief case with a jamming system and battery ready to go, and put her cell phone out of commission (along with everyone else in a 30 foot spherical radius). But now you can have a call phone shaped and sized powerful device that will take down Tammy Talks-Alot’s phone within seconds, and the whole apparatus will fit neatly in your pocket, undetected (aside form the kicks and giggles of course)

SKU_4355 There are many models out there, ranging in bands to common uses. But the most popular in high demand today are the portable ones, such as this one coming in at only $50 USD. Not to mentio0n, it’s fully adjustable capacitors will allow you to tune it to any system you like! With a bit of tweaking, you can jam WiFi security cameras, BlueTooth comunications, and bassicly anything else in the 800-2000 MHz frequency range.

Be warned though, although it is not illegal to buy and own one of these devices in the US, it is illegal to use them! Being caught by the FCC has the potential to get you fined as little as $11,000. StealthyTech does not condone such activity, either! The activity is illegal because major cell phone networks spend on average 6-7 Billion dollars a year to lease their respective frequency range, and expect it not to be tampered with. It is also EXTREMELY dangerous to use in the lower frequency range around 800 MHz, since this is the standard for first responders, EMT’s and police forces.

Overall, we think they’re cool, and wouldn’t mind shutting up Valley girls all over the nation, but we wouldn’t go breaking the law, now would we?

    Dr Gizmo

This is great for those that are having to listen in, but what happens when you block a call to a doctor that is on call? Or a husband from his wife having an emergency. There is a reason these are illegal. Please keep them that way.

Don’t worry, I totally agree! The technology however is cool.

    Nony Mouse

iLegal: a lawyers version of iPod? (you’d probably spell it ‘layers’ :)

    Finnaly?
Neither of these is English words. Maybe Finnaly is an Irish name related to Finnegan? I guess you were asleep in your college English class. Or as they showed in EU study, cell phones ’slow’ the brain.

I hear they are good devices. dealextreme.com was one mentioned side for buying them. Be careful how you use them, or you may be required to consult your iLegal pod, and realize one more thing is required with these: a poker face.
