Or, as everyone is now labeling it, “Magenta™”. Aparrently T-Mobile has taken control over the color Magenta, and has trade marked the actual color itself. Not just the logo, but the actual color! T-Mobile and their larger Deutsche Telekom claim that they own the color, and any use other then theirs is forbidden. However, this is only within their industry sector. So using the color magenta is okay, as long as it wasn’t created in the industry sector for phones, digital media, and basically anything internet related.

I for one think this is outrageously hilarious, and feel the need to start using the color more. Who knows, paint my house.. my car… my kids, I’ll paint them all Magenta™!
