The winer of StealthyTech's $200 Giveaway Has been decided. Joshua M. from California will be getting some fun geeky toys, along with the runner ups. Congratulations, and good luck next time to the rest of you!

Goog-adsenseI’ve received a few messages from new bloggers or website owners asking about the tax system when it comes to filing with your Google Adsense earnings. Especially now with Tax Season on the horizon. The biggest question most people bring up first is, ‘Do I have to report my Google earnings when filing my taxes?” Very simply put, yes. However, the deductions involved, and the taxes owed to the government varies depending on the user.

In this little informative guide I will give you all the run-down on how taxes are managed with Google Adsense, and other revenue services on the web. I will touch on subjects such as what is taxable, how to determine how you should go about filing, and much more useful information including how to get your cell phone paid for, get some gas money, and get any other expenses like computer purchases covered by the government!

blackberry_pearlBlackBerry has always been a household name. Everyone knows if you have a BlackBerry, you’re obviously a business man/woman whose on top of things. But recently more and more people are making the purchase, whether it’s for office/business use or personal use.

Until recently, it wasn’t very common to see more then a handful of people with an RIM device, but if you look at a group of people now, regardless of profession, chances are at least one or more of them have a BlackBerry hanging off their hip. This is funny as well, since just a few weeks ago I received my first BlackBerry for free from Amazon, and I noticed other peers making the same move. As a result, RIM gained over 1,650,000 new subscriber accounts, and also shipped over 3.9 Million new devices. All this tallied up to a doubling in RIM’s earnings.

MyWayAn estimated 90% of Mozilla FireFox users are infected with that pesky default search setting Search.Myway.com. Some people don’t even know it! However, if you’ve recently bought a Dell, chances are, you have it as well pre-installed.

Why is having this a bad thing? Well, normally firefox is designed to have you enter keywords, and then Google will handle this request and bring you directly to the website that best matches your keyword query. However, MyWay forces you to look at their search results which sometimes will include pesky ads and such. They ADD a middle man, slowing your productivity and wasting your time.

This is a little guide that will help you get rid of the keyword search page in a few simple steps. Not sure if you have it? Type a keyword in the URL bar, such as “Tech”. If you’re directed to search.myway.com, then you’re infected and should read on to the 4 steps that take less than a minute to complete!

  • Aquarium PCI’ve always had a dream of having my gaming rig (around 3 grand total, 8800GTX, E6600 @ 4GHz, Striker Extreme, Custom Water cooling) completely immersed in a massive tank filled with distilled water. Imagine the cooling effects and awesome factor! But we come to learn that no board is perfect and distilled water can never be completely pure, thus the 12v limit will be broken.

However! Mineral Oil is completely non-conductive as far as we know, and the project 1337 Fleet has proven that you can indeed have a Aquarium PC! How ’bout them apples? (If you’re not okay with raiding every Walgreen’s and K*Mart within the tri-state area, then this may not be the project for you…) (Click More… for video and more pics)

Digg LogoMost all of us are fans of Digg, and even more of us are certainly Kevin Rose fan boys. But getting your stories submitted from your blog rated as “Popular,” or especially getting front page attention, can be a challenge. Let’s face it, 99% of your submissions probably won’t even make it past the “Upcoming” section. I’ve been browsing around Digg since it’s beta days, and have a pretty good idea about what makes Diggers Digg. (more…)

PhotoShop FeatherLatley there has been a spike in the number of photoshop tutorials out there on both YouTube and MetaCafe. Now, these home videos have a.. certain limit when it comes to actual video quality, but a lot of them are actually pretty decent. There’s no better way to learn then to have someone right on your computer screen telling you what to do next (not that we like being told what to do or anything….).

Here are some of the many links you can follow to any of these videos:
